I have an enhanced MPU on my S2000. It was running fine until I removed the green battery everyone says you dont need and should remove. I removed it, and now when I put the MPU back in and power it up, only the top amber light flashes.

The enhanced board has 2 green lights above the top 2 amber lights and they light up as usual, but only the first amber lights up and it flashes on and off.
Whats up with that?

What he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ You should not remove the green battery on the enhanced S2000 boards.  You can remove them on the original 500 series boards.

Thanks, I had a feeling that was it.

If one isn't sure, one should always ask first before doing something they aren't sure about. Someone insisted I should remove the green batteries because of leakage.

Now I know why I felt hesitant about removing the battery on the enhanced board....
ALWAYS trust your gut feeling!!

Thanks again!
