Been here before....forgot the answer. It was in the key setup but you had to have something just right for it to work. Someone with less bats in the attic will chime in soon.

Stat explained it (I think) that it was a US Treasury thing about money laundering? That's why it's 3000 through the BV but an international version chip I think has no limits?

Is it the SB chip that determines the jurisdiction?

If you're asking what determines the limit for bills etc, then I would say the gme set, however each jurisdiction would have to approve them.  In other words, a jurisdiction that had different requirements such as a lower bill limit wouldn't approve a set that didn't meet requirements.  The sb chip differences usually involve the percentages.  in Ontario, Canada, the minimum is 85% but other jurisdictions allow lower, so the lower set wouldn't be approved for Canada.

Thanks,
Wayne

Wayne, do you know the relationship between the VX, the SB, and the SG chips when determining jurisdiction limits such as the dbv settings? Scratch Head 2
The lowest payback percentage available would simply be the lowest paytable data written into the SB chip, so that should be determined solely by the SB chip.

However, relationship between the dbv limits (and any other restrictions) and the three chip types appears to be more complicated. (If I had a machine, I'd run some experiments. stir the pot / get cooking)

Then perhaps a better question might be, "What purpose does the VX chip serve?" Scratch Head

I have other projects I started now. When I have time this week I'm going to check different chips to see if they work.
