1.  Is there anybody that sells new/used jackpot towers that would be considered pretty 'correct' looking for a Bally 873 or similar early 70s Bally?  I've seen some towers on ebay but have no idea whether they are really for newer type slots and might be inappropriate for an older machine like this.  Or if anybody can point me to a pic of what would be considered correct, then I will start hunting around for something similar.  Or how about any repro or used signs that would have been found on these slots instead of a light?

2.  If I decide against the jackpot tower - is the front plate pushbutton for the tower light(s) hefty enough to handle being rewired to serve as an on/off switch the for the slot power itself?  I'm guessing the answer is no since I think the jackpot lamps are just 57 lamps, but... if not doable, has anybody here ever done an on/off switch conversion like this and have a source for a switch that would fit and look original?

Thanks!

The only place that I know has and sells the jackpot tower light would be Foxsslot. He has them for flat or slant top machines. I think he has them in a few different colors too.

'kay thanks, I'll go check out what he's got for starters.  Suppose I could figure out the correct search terms to come up with some old Vegas casino pics showing what towers or signs were typical back then.  I love those old Money Honey sign toppers, but don't want anything that would specify a specific casino like some belly glasses do.  Will report anything I find that is super interesting  : )
