Good news! Got one of jenning (J-400) running this morning. I know nothing fancy like the newer ones, but pretty happy to finally get it running. Changed out some chips and got machine running and hitting on combinations but would not pay out right. Spoke to Jim (jenningslots.com), and he told me to stay with the hopper sw., harness and connections. That's what is was, bad connection on pins attached to hopper. Always tested good on work bench, (ohms, and the sw), but when put back into machine could not get any continuity from coin-out sw to plug that goes onto board. Took demel and made better connection on pins on hopper, and everything working. I quess by pushing hopper back into receptacle on machine I lost a good connection. Just thought I'd share. I know jennings are not top of the line, but not a bad little machine. Everything sounds solid and works just fine.

Nice looking machine!
Beautiful piece of history.

NLG member RILAW was looking at buying a few Jennings for a winter project.

Thanks for sharing!
