Taking out the 5-5-2 display and putting in a 6-6-3 display W/Multi-Denom. Have correct Version chip. VFD,touch pad and display works (I have a homemade connector for the touch pad but works)I can change denom and have multiple paytables but the leds in the Denom box won't light up.
Used different displays and denom boxes and checked out the output tests but the dam things won't light up  hissy fit hissy fit

Looking for ideas, maybe the I/O card  Scratch Head  or was this a common problem  Scratch Head and maybe I have multiple parts with the same issue  Help

It's a 5 reel double strike and don't think it's the made up harness on the touchpad but would like to try an original harness just to eliminate

The denom box has a cable that feeds into the 6-6-3 digits and passes thru that into the machine. Replaced all and same issue ( No lights in the reel glass denom)

Hey Tony, I don't know if this helps but here is a pic of the harness with the touchpad hooked up, as the harness twist around, I don't know how you had the wires connected to the touchpad but the connector is upside down compared to the light board, something else I remember is if using an adapter to the 6 6 3 from the button panel harness check all the pins on the small end to make sure one hasn't pushed out, that has happened to me more than once, and if it helps the IGT Part is 60799802

What happened to that lucky dog fella- Scratch Head.  I see all his posts have been removed-etc.  Not that they were worth anything in my opinion. -Just wondering.-B. Must have been a bogus account- Scratch Head probably the way he was talking-just my speculation.

The posts were coming from an ip range that were shared with a spam source.
There were several other accounts setup at the same time from the same source but they never posted.
All gone.

We have a great bunch of modeators and administrators.
The new forum software has helped a great deal and there are some good tools to ban IPS, IDs, Relays etc.
We also get a helping hand from many of the users who report a bad post if they see one.

However for the most part we read every post, not just the ones we are interested in.
They say 80% of all communication is non-verbal, but its amazing just how much personality comes through from some of our frequent posters.

Jay,  I knew it last night.  I left it up to someone else to relay the message.  Thanks Barry. That is in my opinion why I had seen conflicts here in the past because I did voice out and speak and got nailed for it. As of late I have been playing nice about some issues here and not said very much and was told by higher ups to do so- go figure again.  Anyway the site is for the games and knowlege for all of us and some fun on the side.  I have been trying to keep it that way.  Thanks again -Barry.

I didn't see that, but I guess not, I guess the time wasters are here as well, not just calling to ask how to win at playing a slot

We've noticed, and thank you Barry.

I will add that everyone here has seen luckydog in several incarnations over the last few months, and each in turn has been removed. We will continue to be on the lookout for more of his antics and will deal with each as quickly as possible. Some people are just petty and have way too much time on their hands.

Depends what mood I am in that I state

1 Quit when you are ahead (or stop when you loose 5 bucks) an consider yourself a winner

2 Don't play just look

3 Look at the meters and the one with more out than in is a good one

4 Most of the time I say, look for a game with a low Jackpot like 2500 (this is not far fetched as a 2500 game will hit more top awards than a 10 - 15K Top Award)

5 Play the highest denom or at least a Dollar game

6 Drop a Coin every time, don't use the max bet

7 Rub the Payline 3 times with palm of hand

* If extra luck is needed use the coin if $1.00 or more

8 Stay at home and buy a slot and have the key

I see it now Ron, good to hear Dan isn't a good shot or at least he hasn't trapped you yet, he may just be waiting for you to drop your guard and come out in the spring though
