Anyone have an idea of what's going on? I just bought Texas Tea... It works fine... But I noticed when it's giving you credits from a win if you hit any button to speed the payout sometimes the screen will scramble slightly and it will reboot and after it comes back up completes the payout... You never loose what money you have in it or the win that just occurred... Strange.. It's not a power issue all my other games work fine.. Perhaps I should reseat something? Could there be a bad EPROM chip?? Should I reburn a new copy?

You say all your other games work fine.
Are you using one mpu board and changing games on that board?
And have you changed back to another game after the Texas Tea problem and then not experienced problems?

Yes all my other games are fine... I change back and they work fine.. I would think it's one of the chips that could be bad... Any ideas which one? My MPU board is good... I am sure it is... my feeling it is one of the TEXAS TEA chips.. I'd like to think someone else has had this issue at some point in time...

That is a strange problem. And it does sound like a software issue. One of the first things a slot does when it boots up is perform a self check. If even one bit is wrong on any chip it goes into error.
So I'm doubting a corrupted chip.
Maybe the speed of the chip(s) is the problem.
Not sure what the minimum speed for a 3902 board is, maybe someone in the know can chime in?
