E2000 Machine shaking electronics

Hello everyone...   Im very happy to say I picked up my first Bally machine..  Its a very clean.. 1982 4 reel nickle machine.  Everything turns on but....   lol... 

  The Power supply to the MPU was disconnected.. when I plugged it in there was loud Racket..  All of the Magnetic relays.. Coin rejector.. Pull plunger..  Bell..  started shaking and vibrating..  did not stop.. I pushed the reset on the coin hopper and it stops.. When i let it go it went back to shaking and vibrating..  Ugly..   It has a code of 5000.00  on the display..  will kinda light up aka.. jiggle a number i cant see past the .00 on the display when I push in the door plunger..   I looked at the MPU board.. P2948-534  AS 2978-7    and there is a sticker dated 1993 with the words bad.. and E-2090-200-1   

 Im thinking the board is bad from the sticker.. do you agree?   Where can I buy a new board to transfer the roms into?

Hi Shawn and    The first thing I would do with your machine is to check all your plugs on all your boards to make sure there clean and tight. Check the ribbon cables from the MPU to IO too. You might even want to pull and try re-seating the eproms. I would try this first before investing in a new MPU

Thank you...  Looks like this is going to be a fun group..   

  I also found out the guy that gave me this machine said that when he was given this unit the connectors at the power supply were disconnected..  He matched up the connectors and plugged them in.. So far everything looks correct.

   I took a multimeter to the fuses and found all of the circuits matched the voltages to the stickers next to them..  Good thing.. lol..  I did disconnect the MPU board and reset all of the connectors and the thin cable to the I/O board..  of course all of the weird shaking when away with the I/o board disconnected.   

 I will try resetting the roms too.. very good idea..
