Lucky Larry's Lobstermania Question

Hey folks,

I finally got a Lucky Larry's Lobstermania and installed it into a machine... It has the following chips/SIMMs:

I0000974 G0001849 C0000805 It is a MultiDenom 5R15L setup.

When I set it up it allowed a max bet of either 15 or 30, nothing else!!! Has anyone ever seen this where there is such a limited choice of max bet options??? That is only one or two coins per line, and I think that is very limited. Does anyone have this set and have the same issue, or could my chips be screwed up?

Or is there a better Base or Game chip option that would be better and still work with my SIMMs?

Hi Cap, I don't know much about I-games, but on the S2000 muti-line reel games there is a menu option in the keychip menu for setting coins bet per line options on each button the button deck. Do the I-games have this option in the set up menus and could there be adjustments that need to be made there?

Your chips aren't screwed up.  I've had that set in my shop before and seem to remember exactly what you are experiencing.  Very likely this version of the game was created based on certain jurisdictional requirements and simply limits the max bet.  Taking a quick peak at my log book a more desirable version of Lobster is as follows:

The iGames do have a setting for max bet options, it just seems that this set is limited to a max of two coins per line, which is rather low, the least I have ever seen is 5 coins per line where you can choose either 1,2,3,4, or 5 coins per line when you set it up. Here you can choose only 1 or 2 per line!

I had never seen this before, but I do feel better as Jim (Bettor Slots) has seen this before, so I did not F it up!

I have been wanting this game forever, and when I finally get it, it is a crappy version!

Thanks for the SANITY check! Naturally the above more desireable set uses a different Cxxxxxxx than what I have! The part that baffles me the most about the Limit on Max bet is that this set of chips came directly out of a machine formo a NEVADA casino!  Almost anything goes in Nevada usually!

on my enchanted unicorn igame i saw a max bet option ($400) i will have to key it later to see where it is so if i put higher denominations then i was limited on the bet per lines

example 20 line x 20 per line at 1$ was okay but if i try to go to 2$ then i could only go x10 per line

denominations  is too high for limit   ,I have sames setup as you i,m on 15x 20 coins

Same issue as 20 Line Cleo I believe, if you don't select a different paytable at keychip it only offers 1 or 2 coins per bet, try Keying machine, and select a different paytable (percentage) than the 98% default, then select Max Bet, you can go back to the 98% (or highest) and then be able to select the proper amount you want per line, then you can verify by looking at the bottom of screen how the button legends should be labeled, (not 1-2-2-2-2) like now, also Max Dollar Amount should be checked also as mentioned above too, anyway Capt'n if you want to change to that other set mentioned I know a guy who can hook you up

Right now it was set for max paytable (97.xxx) for everything, and the denoms were .01, .02, .03, .05, .10, .25, 1.00 so it sounds like just what Jim is describing is what happened. Sure sounds like an IGT bug!

Thanks for the offer Jim. Let me see what happens after the rekey later when I get a minute. What are the differences between this set and the other set referenced, if any?

Captain Happy, we have 2 games running exactly the same software as yours with a 20 coin bet per line.  We are running .01, .02, .05, .10, & .25 for denoms.  You can definitely set it up for more coins, just have to figure out the right combo of options.  Let me know if you want me to check any of our options for you.

I tried what Jim suggested to no avail, so if you could let me know the settings on yours that would be great. Seems like it should work. I even tried turning off .25 and $1 to no avail as well.

did you ever get this resolved.  Oh and i actually just tried squishing that bug above
