I got a great deal on one of these recently with a unipak. Here's how i fixed it

Problem: Unit displayed random characters at the self test screen
Solution: U19 a 2114 Static Ram, Defective poped it in my mod-emup to verify it and it was bad. Replace with a new one and now it works.
