Universal self test #9 tells me I have:
machine eprom: 9116
vers: 0013
game eprom: 9157
vers: 0003
1200 credit limit.

Does anyone know how any of these numbers convert to Model numbers? The only book I have shows all model numbers
start with an '8' (like 8515=Jokers Wild, 8544=Wild Bar). Self Test #9 gave me nothing that starts with an 8.

Universal did not have a real model number for their machines. They had basically the same cabinet with various upgrades. Your machine may have the 8800 board or 8116.
Your game chip is a 2-coin Double Eagles or Rocket Reels or Liberty Bells. It is programmed for 90.436% payback and should have a 1600 coin jackpot.

Thanks so much Uniman; I've poured all over this forum, read many of your posts, and hoped you would be the one to answer my question. I have been ripping my hair out trying
to figure out what was going on. The machine's panels say Stars & Stripes. On the side of the cabinet is model # C8602-2m meaning cabinet type C, 8602 is Crazy Bars, 2 for 2 coin m for multiplier. now the chip is something else. Someone has really Frankensteined this thing (patched together one machine from many).

Thanks Again
