i too have a em ed   but i don,t have that extra little board  try turning up sound in setup and puting on free play  dose it have a dollar unit?

Okay, have you turned up the volume in the settings menu?

Next, start tracing wires.  Make sure that the wires are securely connected to the speaker and the main board of the game.  If it's a removable connection (like a wiring harness plug), try unplugging and re-plugging the connections.  Look for any signs of physical damage to the speaker.

There is a headphone jack for speaker but the problem is the lead into sound card having prob where to plug leads
