Any advise on cleaning polishing my 6000 to get rid of dirt fingerprints etc.  Is the metal surface laquer coated ?

I use windex on a paper towel of cotton cloth, works great yes

Nice coat and clean with Brasso, then a dry terry cloth towel from then on. Gives it like a wax coating.
