I changed out my 5 reel to a new game.  Double Diamond Pennies, finally got the touch pad multi denom set up etc working, but the
game is only spinning 3 reels.  All 5 were working before game change.
I installed:
SB100911  for DD Pennies
SG000363 because I was told they would work.

Not only is there only 3 reels spinning, but now none of the buttons light up on the deck except max bet.

Whats the deal???  Scratch Head

Is the 911 an eprom or an original IGT chip?

Its an eprom, I think it may been the culprit, as I changed everything out to a known good kit a different game, and all works as it should after much
pain in the !!! setup.

The question still stands though, are 363"s a useable chip for 5 reel games???  frying pan

So your SB chip was a copy then of some other game chip, and yes the 363 supports 5 reel games just like the 362 does.

Jeff I haven't messed with 5 reel machines much but I don't quite understand the pay tables ( max bet )  I looked up this SB100911 and here is what I found.

Double Diamond Penny's 360 C
   "            "          "       45 C
   "            "          "       90 C
Double Diamond             180 C
    "         "                      90 C
    "      Dollars                  90 C

Penny Barn                       90 C

Is that correct that one Base chip can have 4 different denominations ??

I believe ..

909 is 45
910 is 90
911 is 180
912 is 360

But I really don't remember.

Buzz, I read somewhere that using the correct SG chip you can select the number of coins.  Otherwise it just doesn't make sense. I have an earlier chip SB100354 and it was labeled 180-360 coins if used with 312.  I never tried it though.

Before I swapped out to the other game kit, I tried some original 598's I had, but no luck.  Only 3 reels were spinning??  Scratch Head

I swapped it to my Triple Lucky Strike game to make sure I hadnt screwed something up  hissy fit
Everything is back to working correctly for now.

New question:  If i TAKE OFF THE mm Lite2 board, will I have any other sound options?  the DSV0042 in it now only offers legacy sounds anyway...
I was wondering if there are some other sounds on the SG chips besides legacy..  Scratch Head

Ken, the 82 is for the DD Pennies?  I was wondering about some other sounds of the Triple Lucky Strike...

598's will not work for this game...it's the most desirable SG version for NON-Free Spin type five reel game titles because of its faster roll-up.  However for all Free Spin type games you want to be using 597's.
