Installing a Ticket Printer on an S+?

Has anyone converted there coin op IGT S+ to a ticket printer? And if so how?

I've done it but I warn you - it's NOT cheap.
The printer used is an ICT thermal roll printer.
I had to modify a hopper to send payout signals to the printer.

There's is also another "kit" that you can buy from some  guys in Long Island, NY that made them for commercial purposes.
They call it the "HCU 100" and the website is at http://mail.mrrouteinc.com/products.html
They are made really well but require you to modify a coin tray so the printer paper comes out into the tray.
That's isn't cheap either as it utilizes the same ICT thermal printer I used.

Both methods won't allow you to use coins though - the bill acceptor must be installed.

No one I've ever known has utilized this plug on an S+ though....

Empire Gaming charges about $150 for their conversion unit.
I provided a link above...
I don't know who's selling those units now...I think "8 ball Supply" has them? I'm not sure of this.

I already had an ICT printer to play with so I didn't have to buy one of those.
I found a brand new one w/software on ebay for about $45 bucks.
I also had a short reel glass and printer plate so the tickets come out the right-hand side of the reel glass like some of the S2000's.
Then I needed to modify a printer mount and used a bezel so the printer paper would come out the reel glass nicely.
I didn't want to cut a hole in my coin tray for tickets coming out there.

If I get a chance, I will reinstall everything into an S+ machine
and post up a short video clip soon.
