Does anyone know the proper card to make the top monitor work for MIB?

The game plays and displays  -  text - but nothing else.   Is there a setting or something to make it work?

Sorry for the blurry picture -  it displays  WIN: Out of this World Payouts! in the photo -
that changes to Play Men In Black etc...

All of the MIB games are dual screen and require the top screen CF card.  As I recall the original game can be fooled to work with a Monopoly top box card, also you won't see any bonus displayed in the top box but it still plays.

It plays without any monitor hooked up too...

So I guess that top box card is impossible to come by

Maybe it was MIB 2 that played with a Monopoly card in the top box then.....it has been too long since I played those.

Good luck finding the top box cards for those.  I gave up a long time ago.

From what I remember, most of the original MIB games had topboxes with chaselights on them.  The monopoly "hack" worked because the game only uses the top board for displaying text and driving the chase lights, and these functions were controlled by the OS in the cards.  Though I have never tried, if you got a MIB top box, you should be able to make it work with the Monopoly CF card, there's no LCD in them, just a whole bunch of lights and a small LCD display for those that had a sign with the top box.
