I got a triple 7 five reel today that apparently had the reels switched around and they are numbered incorrectly.  They of course dint go 1 through 5 but are mixed.  I am not sure they are correct even when placed in 1 through 5 order.  Is there any way to tell which reel strip goes in what postion?  Thanks

Post what the SB chip # is and maybe someone will have the PAR sheet in their library and can list the reel strips for you...

I am not sure what "triple 7" game you have, but if it is one of the following* your strips should go in the order posted below.** You can still post the SBxxxxxx number for your game to verify for sure.

* These themes are all clones of each other, same game, different graphics.
Triple Butterfly Sevens
Triple Lucky 7's
Triple Red Hot 7s
Triple Stars

Content to follow... Picture uploaded from cell phone...

CONTENT ADDED: (I did not want to type it all from the cell phone! no muted bust gut laughing )

Take a look at my picture of my Triple Butterfly Sevens 5 Reel machine and note where the visible seam is on the reel strips. Below the seam is Line #1, and above the seam is Line #22, I am sure you follow the pattern inbetween. With the power off on your machine spin the reels on your machine to the same position and start comparing the symbols that you have to the Physical Reel Strip Listing that I posted above to compare the symbols. (Yours will look graphically different than mine as yours is a clone theme, but you can see the pattern of F1, F2, etc. and follow that.) Using that information and checking the symbols on each reel you should be able to identify which is reel 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then just swap the reels to their correct position. (Some of them only have a few symbols different, and most of the differences are toward the bottom of the reel strip, so it may be quicker to compare from the bottom up... Line 22, then 21, etc.)

Hope this helps!

FWIW,
For my game, this is the Key for the symbols:
F1 WATERMELLON
F2 PLUM
F3 ORANGE
F4 CHERRY
7A YELLOW 7
7B GREEN 7
7C BLUE 7
7D WHITE 7
7E RED SEVEN
TT 3X TRIPLE BUTTERLY SEVENS SYMBOL

Thanks so much this will make it so much easier to sort out!!  Could you compare line 1 and 22 on each reel since they are all different and know which reel position they go in?

I was just checking back on you and saw this post... You may have already gotten it though? Let us know! yes

You have to go further than that... Reels 1&4 have the same symbols in the matching positions in line 1 and line 22, as do reels 2&5. Sherlock Smiley

Thanks I will look at that first.  Do you know if you remove the reel from the motor mechanism and place it on another how do you align it or is is self aligning.  I have one motor that is out and can easily remove the reel it is better than moving the strip if possible.

You may have missed above that I mentioned earlier that you have a clone game, so your symbols will not match exactly to mine as far as the graphics are concerned, but the pattern will follow the Physical Reel Strip Listing that I posted above. The SB100927 that you posted confirms that for me 100%. Clone games are the exact same games, but with different themes and graphics. I have attached two example machine pictures stolen from the web to show two very different machines that are actually the same basic game.

It would be best if you were to post a picture of your reel strips or a picture of your award glass from the top of your machine, and maybe someone can help compare the symbols for you between your game and the Physical Reel Strip Listing. Please Post Pictures
