Rick   why would you ask ?? If your talking about a WBA there are 4 plugs coming out of the BV only 3 of them are used. The only three wire plug coming from the BV is the one not used.

The BV has a white connector on it. Not sure how many wires there are and then there is a cable with 3 wires red . White and black . I ask because the bill Val is not working. I thought the wires might be the reason

This is the loom that goes from the BV to the machine with a WBA BV.  Are you sure you have a WBA ??  Like I said only 3 of the plugs are used. The top plug in the picture is the one that isn't used. But the colors are ( it's hard to tell with my old eyes ) my guess is dark blue/ purple/dark green.

Mabe you should just tell ue what the BV is doing or in this case not doing.

No I'm not sure at all. My bv only has one connector on it. The connector that plugs into the BV has 3 different jacks on the other end that look something like your picture. I have posted a photo of the wires I'm talking about in my first thread an I will post it here also. You ask what it was doing. Well the light on the front of The BV does not come on. It will take bills but spits them back out. I don't know if the BV is even any good. It came with the machine that was parted out. If it will help here is a photo of BV serial # and data info.

The mars ZT1202 is a IGT bv. Was this in your game and did it work before. If it was a working unit the rollers look dirt so you might need to clean it. The wires you were looking at first are (cash box removed wires) not used in S2000.

the ZT1202   is a MARS bill acceptor.  that model has been discontinued   there should be a plug that comes from the unit you have pictured,  the back of the ZT transport should have the counter part of that plug.  meaning one is male and the other female,  the plug that comes off the  housing  mates to a square plug that  terminates to the four plugs to adapt to the S-2000.

the plcc chip to upgrade to the new money is hard to find.   I would strongly recommend converting to a WBA bill acceptor.  you can use the metal housing that is in the machine, you will have to purchase a transport housing complete with wiring harness,  and a WBA transport and head and duck bill programmed with the IDO-024  and latest new money program.  you will also need a cash can.

Hope this helps

How hard was it for you to get the current BV out.
its about that hard to put a WBA in and get it connected to the machine.
The only other hard part is getting the machine to recognize the new BV and configure it
but it will do most of that when you turn the power back on.
I would go for a WBA-13 but realize as soon a new bill the newest 100 (even though it is not released yet) is supported in the latest software the wba-13
Now if they release another new bill you I and many others will be looking for a different BV that will support that bill
I will stick with JCM for now unless some one can say another brand beats them and can back it up.

I think it was released last year, V-3.80-34. But finding it is another problem.

Ok I checked the configuration . The limit is defaulted at 1000.00 on all. The rest of the configuration looked right. So thinking it might be the Mars bill acceptor. Going to try to change it out to a WBM-13 if I can find one. If not is there another model that will work? Thanks for all your help.
