Can you use a wba 13 in place of a wba 23?  Is there a difference in software or eprom size?  I sold a guy a working wba 13, he said it was bad, I had him ship it back and it tested good in my igt s2000.  I sent him a second wba 13 (tested prior to shipping) and he says it doesn't work.  He has a wba 23 working in the Russian machine.

Wont work in Russia or Europe

The Transport 12/13 can replace the 22/23 Transport, the Head is region specific, 12/13 Heads are for use with US Currency only, the Head has the extra Mag Heads to read the magnetic ink embodied in US Currency, 22/23 Heads do not have the Mag Head Reader

Software is also region specific for use with each type of machine

read this post by me...We are on the same page...I am the one who bought the unit from you and it seems there can be a difference in 23 transports...
