Can any one help me with this issue i have this game i just picked up it is a 1983 Fortune one draw poker .
it powers on and i can manual place credits on it with the Comparitor switch arm, and it excepts the command but when i try the hold and draw buttons no go i can get response from the cancel button bit nothing else.

usually those buttons form a series circuit,  meaning each switch, thru its normally closed contacts provides the ground to the next switch etc. etc..  when the switch is activated  that ground is placed on the normally open contact and onto the switch matrix to tell the computer of that action.

On your machine you can see that action by looking on the logic board mounted on the left side of the machine , to the left of the hopper.  there are four LEDS (RED)   each time any switch is activated  the leds light to a different configuration.

If the leds don't respond then something in the switches or wiring is bad.

any of you slot techs know were i can find some switches for the control panel i have found that more then 4 of the buttons/switches are non functional and causing no hold options.
