I'm working on an Area 51 that boots up normal and then displays a message that there's no communications with the bill acceptor. It's set up with a WBA13 that may have been flashed with the wrong version. Can anyone confirm the bill acceptor protocol for this machine ?

I'm not certain of this, and we don't have any of the IGI games anymore to check, but I THINK they used ID003.

What do you have in it now?

And if it's a WBA-13 it will have a removable chip, not flash.  They are actually much better to have for home use, since you can just buy a new chip to put in it, rather than sending it off somewhere to have it flashed.
