I searched on the forum for a while and didn't see anything that helped me. If this question is covered somewhere, please point me there so that I can work through it without taking up anyone's time.

I have 2 new to me Bally 6000s. I'm brand new to these Bally 6000s so bear with me wave

The first one is up and running. Its a 4 reel Triple Bonus Frenzy.

The 2nd one is the one I'm having issues with. Its a Wild Times pay and I'm currently getting 55 and 23 errors. The board didn't have dip switches so I pulled the switches off the working MPU and did a complete clear using the dip settings from the working game. Put the mains back in the game and turned it on. I get the 50 door open, when I close the door the 50 switches to a 55. On this game, I hear the coin diverter solenoid working on startup and I see it moving the rake back and forth. After a quick cycle of it trying, it throws the 23 error and it flashed between the 55 and 23. The bill accepter doesn't cycle at all and the reels don't try to do their maiden spin after I shut the door. I get the "Copyright of Bally gaming" guy when I first turn it on and the reels spin to their last location.

This machine (and the working machine for that matter) have no coin in parts in the machine. I used the dip settings from a working game and even went into the 11d menu and set up all settings there just to see if it would make a difference. At this point I don't know what to try next. Hopefully its something simple, so far I think these Bally's have been easier to deal with than the S+ and S2000s that I've been working with before now.

If you need any further information or particular pictures taken, please let me know.

If you don't have the manual that explains all the functions in the 11d menu get it here:  http://slot-tech.com/interesting_stuff/bally/Bally%20S6000/

I have the manual and have been through all of the settings. I'm just confused on how to clear the 23 error. Is there a special wire that is needed to bypass coin parts like an s+?

I found a page where a user was having a similar issue. I'll look through the things listed here http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?;topic=14443.0 when I get home.
