I have a VLC winning touch model 8725 video poker and have replaced all three batteries on the CPU board and cannot reset the error. If anyone knows how to deal with this issue or have dealt with it in the past it would be greatly appreciated.

1st off  NLG Welcome . You may have to have your board cleared with a clear chip. You cannot replace the batteries without clearing. Clear chips are impossible to purchase. There are only a few that have them. I have a 8825 and had to send my board  in to Worldwide Gaming. Ask for Karsten he will be able to help you out.  yes

Thanks, I'll send it in to them.  How are the prices?

I have the same error message.  Just got the machine that had been sitting for a while.  Where is the model number and where are the batteries.  Is there a manual available.. Thanks for any help for a newbie.  Mark

Thanks for the reply.  Do you know a ballpark cost?  Also, I have a board on top of another board.. Any idea what that board is?  I am also on search of the coin hopper.  It does have a brand new bill acceptor in the machine but doesn't have the plugs to hook it up... It must connect to the hopper?

Sorry to hear that. I have no idea who else would be able to help you out. I will be in trouble if mine goes down again.
