I will probably butcher this but keep in mind I am not a tech just looking for some info if you guys have any input.... lately we have been having a ton of issues with the enhanced boards. They will work when they leave out shop... when they get to the customer there dead in the water and we typically have to send out new boards. Didnt know if anyone had any advice of making their reliability more substanable..

THanks,

Chris

The primary problem you're gonna run into with those boards is a low or dead green 3 cell battery. I'd look at the voltage on the ones coming back

Chris,
The boards are very ESD sensitive. One must be grounded before thinking of touching that board. Especially where humidity is less than 70%
Also as Cowboy said, that green battery does leak and form a blue corrosion that kills the traces.

My biggest problem is the green battery I have been changing them but they are very hard to desolder.  I have destroyed one board getting the battery off,  when replaced it seems to cure most of the problems.

Best way to do those is to melt some new solder into each of the 3 joints first and then use a good desoldering braid to wick it clean
