this one came with corrupted sprites.
after i found how to read the 28 pin 1Mbit mask roms i've found they were 90% different than mame dump, one was also spitting out different data every read.
so i replaced the mask roms with 27c010 eproms, by finding the right jumper configuration just under the 4 eprom sockets.
have a look at the attachment too.

***info from dataman forums ***
The 23c1000 was a maskrom made by NEC, it seems to be very common in some of the older arcade PCB's
Its complete name taken from the ROM is D23C1000AC and is a DIP package
The pinout is as follows:

A15.|1..........28|.VCC
A12.|2..........27|.A14
A7.|3...........26|.A13
A6.|4...........25|.A8
A5.|5...........24|.A9
A4.|6...........23|.A11
A3.|7...........22|.A16
A2.|8...........21|.A10
A1.|9...........20|./CE
A0.|10..........19|.D7
D0.|11..........18|.D6
D1.|12..........17|.D5
D2.|13..........16|.D4
GND.|14........15|.D3

As you can see its pin compatible with a 27c301 but with an the extra /OE and programming lines removed.
