If there is a thread on here for this already, please point me towards it since I didn't find anything.

What would the process be to switch to one of the newer 15 or 20 line s2000 games that uses an R board? I have a Triple Stars 5R9L game now that is working. I also now have the R board for the 5r20L Triple Stars game.

I'm assuming belly glass would be the same and I'm hoping the reels would be as well. I can't find too much about these R board games at all so I don't know how involved it would be to convert mine over. I have R boards for a 15 line Double Stars and the 20 line Triple Stars.

Also if anyone had a picture of what it looks like, that would be great as well. The only picture of a game with 20 lines that I could find online was a Slingo 20 line but it looked like a Vision game.

Anyone even have a picture of a 20 line Triple Stars game? I've searched online and haven't found one. I've never seen one in a casino either.

I guess it would be much harder than I thought it would be to convert this game over.

The other big question is, do you currently have a 1270 enhanced MPU and motherboard in your game? These are necessary to run an R board

Yep I have an enhanced MPU and motherboard and I have the R board for the 20 line Triple Stars.

Thats why I thought it might be a simple conversion. I've heard the hard part to find is the R board.

Sounds like you're well on your way. Do you have the programming clear and key chips they use for those R boards?

No not yet... I read on another thread that they use a different set of clear and key chips. All I have is a 97 clear, 17 key and 31 key.

Figured I'd look into picking those up once I saw if the reel glass existed and if it was affordable enough to be worth it. I have a working Triple Stars game now but I ended up with these R boards and thought it might be fun to have a multi line game like that. The 9 line TS game gets kind of boring quickly.

Dang it, if you had those chips I was going to tell you to go ahead and try the board. There's been a lot of generic theme reel glass on ebay the last couple days, maybe something there that will work?

Yeah I tried it without the chips and it wouldn't play. I was hoping it would miraculously just start up and play without them  bust gut laughing

I'm in no rush, I'm just happy to have a working machine at this point. I went through a whole string of bad MPUs, bad base chips, etc to get a working game. I'm happy with just playing the one I've got for now  yes

So what is it you are needing? Just the picture of the game or parts? I just put a couple kits on eBay yesterday. 25 and 40 line I think. let me know as we have a few 5 reelers that are headed to Partsville....

I would need a multi line reel glass, 16" Triple Stars 20 line award glass, clear/key chips for an R board game, and the board that goes behind the multi line glass to light it up.

I don't know if the reel strips are the same for a Triple Stars 9 line but I'm guessing they would be.

I ended up with a couple of these R boards but only have a use for the one.

I know this is an older thread, but if you are still interested,  here is a pic of my 20line Triple Stars machine.
