I have the standard payline glass with displays on right (pic. 1). I need to change to displays like the S+ along the bottom (pic. 2). Need to know what part and who might have it.

Wow...that themes gonna be tough to find. You might end up at "Heartbreak Hotel"....

Closest you may get is like this, without MultiDenom....

Roz or Darrell, I have the glass. I need the display's for credits, win, and coins played to go behind the same glass as your's. Does the wiring need another harness for the extra lenght to go from side to bottom display?

Oooooooohhh, I misread that....

What youre looking for is referred to as a "S2000 Long VFD Display".  We are out of stock, I believe. When we have them they go quickly. I'm sure someone has them. Nothing on eBay huh?

I prefer to support sellers here. Ebay as last resort. I saw one on your site. Let me know if is in fact there.

Out of stock....sorry.  I had them priced WAY to cheap and sold out VERy quickly. Certain items are kinda hard to find, and this turns out to be one of them. It's like Murphys Law, only see them when you don't need them...

Do I just re-route my wiring from the top to underneath?

The VFD's are different for S2000 and S+.  I tried to put an S+ reel glass in my S2000 and the leds didn't align with the window, so make sure you get the right VFD.  From the picture above, it appears the Elvis glass is S2000, not S+, therefore, I think you're on the right track with an S2000 VFD display.  I have an S2000 VFD for sale on Ebay.  It's the older style though, not the newer one that supports multi-denom.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/290915101933?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

As far as the harness, take a look at the back of the VFD I have for sale.  The harness plugs into two places: far right and underneath.  I don't have a style of machine like yours to compare to, but you can at least see if the molex plugs match until someone who has both replies.

Too bad you didn't decide to do this a few months ago.
I converted a long reel glass machine to a short.  frying pan

You have more than just a display to change. You need to relocate the printer to the top box and that will require a differant bracket and the short player tracking bar to hold the top glass. Then you need to shift the reels to align with the long glass. That means a new reel shelf.
You already know about the new long credit display, but you will have to remove the old side one and all the old wiring that goes around the top fluorescent light fixture. It will take you a while and if you have another machine to compair to it will help the process.

Thanks. Jim at Blueridge told me about the reel shelf. It doesn't have a printer so that is easy. I am hoping someone will know how to help me make a monitor from a DVD or something. I have seen CD Roms for IGT. Will that play a DVD to the monitor continuosly? Also anyone know of a Scrolling message sign to go in place of the progressive? 16" by 2" in a roundtop.

Anything is possible. Is that not a vision series game?

Hi Cowboy. The Elvis was a vision game. Maybe one of the first? I have been told for years that the software is non-existant. It played Elvis in concert during special hits and had a spinning bonus. I can put a vision monitor in it if it will help anything. I have no idea of how to get info. on a data card to play anything. I was told that a69mopar had one in the works but he has not replied to any messages. I would like input from anyone.

Without the software a vision monitor won't do you much good but an appropriately sized tablet mounted well could play anything as an alternate option on that game, it just couldn't be tied into it

That is what I was thinking of doing. Putting some kind of DVD player in it to play the whole time the machine is on. A little Frankenstien but it will be better than nothing. If anyone knows of an appropriate divice 8 1/2" wide by 6 1/2" tall, please let me know. Thank-Ya-Thank-Ya-Very-Much

One more ??? I have a Munsters Vision and the monitor shows the reels spinning and stopping. Can this be done for the 10 times theme? I would not need a bonus theme right now. It would be something nice to fill the vision blank with. My mind explodes with thoughts, just don't know if it is possible. Only been tinkering with slots for a few years.

I was told that a69mopar had one in the works but he has not replied to any messages.

But I did reply.  With this post, you have slammed me.  I don't appreciate this.  I have my business email and my phone number listed here also.  Before you post inflammatory remarks about me on line, you should try to use those.   My volunteer time helping people should never lead to this type of action.

As for the Elvis machine,  I do not have one in the works.  I have been gathering parts, but nothing has been assembled yet.   I replied that you should look into one of those photo frames that plays videos and has the remote.  And for your progressive display, why not just put a spectrum in there, like was intended.  If I do get time to assemble my personal project, I will post the details.  Without the base or game chips, I can't see this happening.

Thanks,
Wayne

Wayne, It was not my intention to SLAM you. Just casually mentioned because at that time you had not. I was not angry or upset and hope no one else took it that way. The information I recieved was wrong since you are not building one.  I am sorry you took offense and will make sure it does not happen again. If it helps you I recieved a message from a member saying he has 2 of the 3 chips. If you want I will have him contact you.

No Problem and yes, I would appreciate that.  Please ask to send to my gtaslots email as my hotmail has not been the most reliable lately..  I'll get another coffee into me, lol.  as for the photo frame, the link should give you an idea, however there are much less expensive ones.  The remote would be good to use while it's behind the glass.
