I am trying to change over my CRT Bally EVO video slot to an LCD screen.  I bought an ELO 1739L and thought I had the patch cable for the touch screen right but it is a NO GO so far.  The monitor has a DB9 serial output and just assumed hooking the TX, RX, and GND wires to the RS-232 input on the backplane would work.  BOth the CRT and LCD monitors use the same type of touch screen.  What am I doing wrong??  I tried switching the TX and RX around but it didn't work either.  Video was no problem and looks great.  I am far from being an expert---Any Ideas out there????  Thanks
