Hello all this is my first post, and I need help. My game is a slingo bonus deluxe 5 reel , it has been working perfectly ever since I have bought it,couple of months, we had a power outage, the machine was not on ,but plugged in, I was getting bored so I came up with the bright idea of turning on the machine by running it from a digital power inverter. The kind that runs off of 12vdc batteries, the power is smooth enough to run my tv and cable box, but when I plugged in the slot machine it got stuck waiting for netplex devices to startup. I didn't think i had hurt anything, but when the power was restored and I tried to power up the machine I got the error RNG SEED1 on the bonus display.
The main game just says it is waiting for the video display.
I am hoping there is a way to reset the error?

Thank you for any help, Sean Moore

I have attached 2 photos of what it says on start up.

I have never seen that message. It makes me think about a Light Ring. Is there a light ring around the monitor? Maybe try unplugging it. It say's "waiting for the video display" so that has to be where the error is coming from. Try unplugging all your top box connections and replacing them one at a time with the machine off. These are all things I would try if it were mine. Got a strong feeling you blew something with too low of voltage. Good Luck I hope something I suggested helps

Just to let everybody know, I was able to fix my machine. I was able to reset the error buy using the lower door closure switch, turns out when the main door is open the lower doors switch acts as a reset for the top bonus part. The switch I am talking about is located on the side of the bill validator and is used by the lower door.
Hopefully someone out there will find this information useful.

Thanks Sean

That is one cool machine, and on my list of machines to buy if I can ever get a hold of one.  The only caveat, is that AC/Coin is no longer around, so parts for it are going to be pretty difficult to come by.  If the top goes bad, then you have just a plain S2000.

I know where multiple slingo machines are, the place I bought this one from has more of them.  It's in Dallas TX
