Have a Freedom Stars I installed in a previous 3 reel cabinet and I'm getting the error message above.

I searched and found the following thread:

http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=236.0

Can someone please elaborate on the I/O grounding procedure?

I follow installing the jumper but I'm not sure how to go about grounding the pin of the cabinet I/O board.  I assume the pins are marked somehow?

Thanks,

Mike

This is a step by step I did a few years ago. Sounds like the jumper for the two green wires by the cabinet i/o card were not jumpped together. picture in second post of the instructions

Is installing the jumper the only thing that needs to be done?

The way I read it it sounded like installing the jumper and grounding the I/O pin were two separate things.

Thanks for the reply.

Jumping this was all I did. look at the post, it is step by step on how I converted a three reel to a 3 reel plus bonus reel.
