S+ Not paying out correctly

I just purchased a S+ "Double Wild Cherry" and I don't think it's paying out correctly.  It's pays sometimes on all blanks or on one bar.  The reel strips look to be all the same with reel strip number 84811400PP.  The game type 00, game chip SP1048 and SS4324 Reel Prom which looks to be correct by the on-line game bible.  Anything else I can look at to see why it's not paying correctly?

Are the reel strips aligned properly? Make sure the little notches at the bottom of the strips are on the little nubs inside the baskets. You will have to undo the end of the strip to see this. Don't be alarmed if it comes off in your hand, we can help ya get it back on the basket.

That's about all I can think of, since your chips are correct, assuming its a 2 coin game. Or there's always a chance you have slant top reel baskets, but lets check the alignment of your strips first.

Just a thought without doing any research into the numbers you provided, you know that a Wild Cherry game will give payouts if the "Wild Cherry" symbol is above or below the center payline, right?

Yep, that was it.  The game will give payouts if the "Wild Cherry" symbol is above or below the center payline, I did not know this.  I should have looked and read the glass.
