Hello, I recently purchased my first slot machine.  It is a Red Hot Triple 777 by IGT.  It currently is set up for ticket payout, and I would like to change it over to coin payout.  I have done a search on this forum and maybe I am using to wrong search criteria but i have not been able to find anything that gives detailed information on what are the different parts needed and how to.  Pics posted and any help would be appreciated.

First of all you would need to purchase all of the parts for changing to coin operation.
Coin head, chute, comparator, optics, hopper etc.You may want to post a WTB in the classifieds
on this site or check with the vendors listed on the home page. The hopper is very heavy so shipping
is expensive.Depending on where you live there may be someone close to home that has the parts.
I am not familiar with the IGT S2000 but by the last  picture it does not seem to have the tracks for the hopper.

DF777 got most of it. From the front door back you will need a coin head, coin comparator and mounting bracket, coin optics, coin chute, coin comparator harness, hopper and hopper floor bracket. you will also need a key and clear chipset, probably a 45/224 combo will be best. Keep in mind that you will need to set your coin/token value at something close to whatever max bet is so you don't have to put in 100 coins or whatever just to spin the reels one time. There'll be other things to do, but tracking down and getting the parts is the big thing. The membership here can help you get through the rest.

By the way, your wiring is a rat's nest and I would bet some of it doesn't need to be there. If you'll start a new topic and post some cloe up pictures of all that wiring in the lower part of the cabinet we can advise you on what can be removed

More than likely it's security related equipment that was hooked up to the casino backend computer. Commonly known in the aftermarket as trash

The kit from Rudy's goes a long way, but he'll still need a coin chute and hopper bracket w/ plug and harness lead
