I accidentally unselected the bill acceptor in MMS and to enable it again I need to enter a four digit hexadecimal value. I have tried E489 but it does not work for me. Does anyone know of any other values that might work. I looked on the unit itself thinking it would be printed on it but nothing obvious.

Thanks,

Don't have an answer for you, but did you try Robert Winter's Odyssey Slot page in their forum section under tech issues ?  If you go to: www.robertwinter.com/slot/odyssey/forum it should take you there.  Good luck...

He has a great site dedicated to Odyssey machines. That is where I found the E489 value that I tried but it does not match my validator. I sent him an email and am hoping he might know of some other values to try.

I was able to figure this out.

Odyssey actually provides this value for you in the error log. It can only be seen if you go to the error log right after performing a safe clear. It will no longer be visible if you turn the reset key or power off the machine.

Long Live Odyssey.  applause

I'm glad you found the answer.  I only knew of the E489 value.
