Bally E Series game chip versions

I think I need some education with my new found friends: the Bally E-series machines.   

I have one 1202E, an E1236-5, and one -cant remember at the moment. 

On M-7 Eprom, where do you cross reference the internal game chip number (i.e. 501892) with the machine model number, the reel strips, and the pay scale, and the DIP switch options?

On the Eprom chips (M1, M2, & M3) there are a variety of marking.  How can you cross-reference what the version are?  i.e. E-755-8, E-755-47, etc.  On the same chips there are marking for the universal slot program version (i.e. USP 5.64) Is the highest Rev number always the best and what was the last one Bally release for the E-1000 & E-2000? What are the particulars with the chips?

Lastly, for the moment, is there an index of model numbers, game names & numbers, Eprom #s, and reel strip #?  Similar to the IGT Game Bible that Rick set up.

alot of questions - there is no reference manual on NLG that I know of for e-series programs - I have an extensive library of e-series - way to much for me to post on NLGs - I can look up your programs (M7 on e1 and P1 on e2) - the m1,2,3 proms are security chips - related to speed of reels - reading reels etc.  there are different M1-3 for E1000 than E2000 - they are not interchangeable - the game proms are.

OK, so what is the breakdown/details for the E-755-8 ,9, & 10 (M-1, M-2, & M-3 respectively) ?  Is there a SMI, PAR or PSR for these?  If so I'd appreciate a copy.

I'm still looking for some info on my Bally games.  I hoping someone out there can share some documentation about Dip switch setting, Book keeping meters & maintenance meters.  Of course info on optional I/O board connections would be the cats meow.

the chips you have are correct for the games you have - that is the 501892 is for an E1202 using strips 222-911 thru 222-915;  the 573277 is for an e2344-1 thru 3 using strips 234-318 thru 234-320 - bit switch 1 and 2 are the only ones that should be ON.  for the meters you will need an operators manual to define what they mean using test 7.   do not understand your "optional i/o board connectors" question.
