I have a igt slot machine double diamond  that has worked great for months
but now when it powers up the wheels do not spin and no lights on the led displays
the only thing that works when power up is the bill exceptor and the floresent bulbs.
the 25 cent does not light ,no insert coin ,no button lights nothing .
a couple days ago the volume stopped working and I had to turn it up on the board ,I thought it was kind of weird because
I never moved the dail before .any info would help
thanks

also red x with circle and blue ambulance is flashing on bill exceptor
it has been doing this for a while though it hasent worked since I got the machine
the last owner said he shut the exceptor off but I dont know how to repair this problem

Is this an S+?
If so, check the 3 fuses on the power supply box...especially the top two.
The bottom one is for the fluorescent lights.
Could you please post a picture of your machine?

S+ are also notorious about poor power connection to the motherboard.

Remove the hopper and look for the white power connector (6 pin) to the motherboard. it is about quarter the way from the right end of the motherboard.
unplug and plug it in a few times.
I cleaned mine with contact cleaner, released the contacts from the connector, adjusted the contacts so they would be tight and re-inserted them into the connector.

To enable the Bill Validator you will need a set chip.
Set 15 should work.

We can at least try to reset the Sentry by doing Output Test 26 which enables the BV for testing.
1 Open Door
2 Press Self Test until you see 2 in coins played and 10 in Winner Paid
3 Turn Jackpot Reset key about 16 times until the 10 changes to 26
4 Press and hold Spin Reels Switch for a few seconds, release and repeat a couple times.

Also be sure the cash can is fully installed.
