Hey all, I'm new here and wanted to ask a question. I did a ram clear on an Atronics Emotions machine and afterwards, the BV did fine with bills but rejected all vouchers and did so rather quickly. I checked all my settings and they are correct, next, I calibrated the BV with no effect. Next, I swapped the BV with the machine next to it which is also the same kind of machine and the BV worked just fine. I then took the BV from the second machine and put it into the one I was having trouble with and got the same problem. Any suggestions??

Predator,
Welcome to NLG! The Wave
May I ask how you solved your 56 minute problem?
It may help others Atronic owners later on... yes
Lots of IGT, Bally, Williams, Universals, and CDS guys here...
(I know I've left out a few!)
You might be our resident Atronics expert we've been looking for! applause Hail

The casino I work for has the ram clear chips.
The way I fixed the problem was that I don't like for a machine to beat me so to speak and I have a tendency to just keep at it until I find a solution. With this machine, I went back and triple checked all my settings. I remembered there was one that looked kind of strange to me in the way it was worded, it said "Voucher Validation" I thought I had seen where it was already set and went back to look and sure enough, it said no, so I switched it to yes and then re-tested the BV and everything worked. Two other problems I've noticed in our Emotions machines are the signal cables to the monitors are easily disconnected by the slot floor people unwittingly. They may not come totally out of their jacks but may be loose enough to not send signal and a lot of times the monitors will go black. Also the power supplies sometimes have problems but since they went to 450w power supplies I haven't seen as many failures. Don't know if any of that's helpful or not but I hope it is.

Oh, BTW, if anyone needs ram clear chips for these machines, let me know and I'll find a source for you.
