Model: iPod Touch
Symptom: Fails to restore, error 2002

When trying to erase an iPod Touch, it failed with error 2002 and the attached screen shot showing on the unit.

Removed the USB cable from the front jack on the computer and used the rear USB jack to successfully restore the unit. The iTunes software does NOT like to connect through a USB hub, even ones built into the computer's motherboard.
