Wild thing !

« on: February 23, 2010, 12:39:56 AM »

I read a post about S-2000 Multi denomination setup. Wires are there, hidden in almost all machines.
My question might seem off the wall, but here it is.
I have a vision "Munster mash" 5 line one credit.  converting to a Multi  denomination setup tomorrow.  The question is, I see the one credit in the vision screen, my other vision has multi-credits , up to 5 .  Is there a pair of wires someplace that control the 5 credit selection ?  can a second button be added to jump from 1 credit to 5 credits ?  Seems like the screen can support it, the software in the upper box looks like it should too.
will it work ? Has anyone ever tried ?

thanks

This may help answer your question
It shows the wiring and switch functions and numbers.
There is a another 4 wires, at least on the harness I have installed. colors: Yellow/red Blue/red, Black/red, Red.
They may add function you are seeking. I would add a switch it would be S14 in the schematic or the switch panel

Dan,

Are you asking, can you bet more then 1 credit per line on this game?  Sounds like you want to bet all five lines AND increase the bet to be between 1 and 5 credits per line.  Can someone else confirm, but to my knowledge it is not possible on the 5L Vision Munsters to do this.

Yea, that was the idea, add the missing board.  Its in my future plans, I have 2 machines down right now fixing up some loose ends.
Like today, I added multi- denomination and got that working and playing ok, but now the red light in my candle is blinking  Scratch Head ...  I think i can pull the bulb ( bust gut laughing)

The number of lines, and the number of coins played are contained in the code of the SB chip.  So no amount of hardware or wiring will change that.

It was worth a shot, I guess its the mechanic in me.  The multi denomination is almost as good, I can live with that.
