LOL, I have no wants in creating or getting in the resell slot business. While my pipe dream would be to have a casino, I've got enough stuff going on. I just think it would be nice to add to my small personal collection(who doesn't!) at a very reasonable cost, provide some to my friends, and possibly other collectors/home gameroom enthusiasts here in the West.

I see this as no different than if these were pinball machines. Grab a few I don't have, get rid of the others.

Probably like most of you, I get more kick out of finding, cleaning and fixing up a game more than actually having it once it's done.

SORRY --DONT GET ME WRONG GUYS & GALS ---emails have no emotions lol

I was just mentioning from experience ..>>>>THAT IF <<<  you wanted to buy and resell to locals etc .
JUST A TID BIT OF WHAT GOES ON !!>>>>>>> its a business you have to love to work it <<<<<

I cant explain it any better than that ?? Its not like working at BEST BUY -SELLING A TELEVISION SET BRAND NEW !
AND HAVE THE ORIGINAL MAKER LIABLE FOR WARRANTY WORK ..

because buying and selling over the years to JOHN Q. -PUBLIC !! they want everything for nothing !!

then when they get a model delivered or picked up !!

turn a key at the wrong time and it goes "haywire " -yes pun intended !!

then they call you back ask  seller and say ?? >but I ONLY TURNED THE KEY .. BECAUSE IT SAID HOPPER EMPTY ??
AND THEN THE SHIT HITS THE FAN !!

most of all members have enough smarts to contact someone or STOP IN THERE TRACKS !!
other public people think well he or he wont know if i pulled off this plug and fired back up machine !!
now the screen or reels just barelly move or machine does nuttin honey lol

OK IM DONE LOL --TOSS ROCKS I LOVE IT !!

Rocket, it's not always that black and white. If I had the resources, I would seriously be considering these Barcrest machines. Super Joker has a valid point: one does not need to be in the slot business to buy in bulk. Several of our members, including one that I visit frequently, who shall remain nameless (until he posts himself! Tongue Out) does this.

For someone with the money, time and desire to tinker with them, it becomes a restoration project. The person hunts down missing glass and parts, puts as many of the machines as they can into working order, keeps a few, sells a few, has a good time, and if they're lucky, breaks even or makes some money. Actually, if these machines are in decent shape, (only a direct inspection will reveal their true condition) then there is money to be made here.

No one here thinks that this won't be a lot of work, but if we didn't love working on slots, we wouldn't be here!  frying pan bust gut laughing bust gut laughing

Well, the auction ended today without a bid. I'll be interested to see if they're relisted or not.

BTW, I did get a response email from the seller with pics showing many of the machines powered up. Looks like most of them had the "out of service" tape over the coin/dollar holes, and he did confirm they were all S+'s.

I noticed two Barcrests popped up on Craigslist-Vegas, yesterday. A Pinball and a Little Devil.
Wonder if they are related to the eBay lot?

We knew they were s+'s---- arrow.  If they were s-2000's barcrest you or no one else would ever have even known about them.  The deal still seemed like a deal that could have been ok from a hobbist view and to re-coup/make money on.  Keep in mind the s+ barcrest games still command very good money clean, nice, shopped and working.  The main title in those would be "top dollar" and a few others and then it trickles down a bit from there.  B.
