I don't what's going on and I'm confused as to what to do. Help
My machine has 4 chips in the U-12, U-15, U-3, and U-4 locations.
I have the Dbl. Jackpot Triple Blazing 7's U18, and U-20 installed.
U-12 and U-15 are the mains right?
I don't know what the U-3 & U-4 chips are called. They have "SExxxx" on them? lol
("x" represents numbers but looks funny when next to "SE" ...lol)

Anyways, When I stick in the Clear Chips into U-12 & U-15 locations, I hold onto the Pseudo Coin
and Test buttons while powering up - nothing happens. bawling
My bloody fingers get sore real fast trying to hold those 2 buttons in that long! lol
So I use my fingernail tips to hold them in but still don't get any codes such as "CH C" or anything else.
The display just stays blanked out as if it's not on. Scratch Head
I tried moving the JW10 jumper across the the two pins and holding the Pseudo Coin & Test buttons
with the clear chips replacing the mains, still no display... hissy fit
The display works if I throw in an entirely different board and chips.

I've read somewhere that it's possible some mains won't work with certain clear chips.
The weird thing is that these clear chips work with another game
I have called Double Wild Rose 2CM with U-12 & U-15 main chips
numbered ME920000-H-1 & Me920000-H-0 respectively.
Maybe my clear chips only work with the Wild Rose game for
some reason and not the Blazing 7s game?

The mains I have in the Dbl. Jackpot Triple Blazing 7s don't have
anything written onto the labels other than U-12, U-15.
I read them with my programmer and they seem to be okay?
I'm not sure as the Chksm's are:
U-12: 0x1405
U-15: 0xE0A8
U-3: 0x13B2
U-4: 0xAD35
U-18: 0x9800
U-20: 0x8A05
They're all ST M27C256B eproms.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

ME is MAINS
SE is SUPPLEMENTS

one thing is all chips should be same speed, and in my opinion anything over 150ns is too slow, have seen may copied Bally Chips that are problems it seems like, do you have a set of ME92XXXX chips in another game, they don't need clear chips just the jumper

Let's move this thread to the spinning reel slots instead of video slots for starters, unless it's a bunkensteined stepper video combo.   Tongue Out

Sorry guys, I thought I was in the Bally5500 section.... Duh! Duh!
Sorry to disappoint....it's an all Bally machine this time Wayne!  Cry Laughing
Anyways!!! I fixed it!
This is what I did...>>>

I copied my Mains and Supplements from
the Double Wild Rose game (Thanks for the definitions  Blueridge! ) to brand new SST27SF512's.
These SST re-writable eproms are rated at 70ns speed.
I kept the two Dbl. Jackpot Triple Blazing 7's Game chips
in their respective U-18 & U-20 sockets.
Threw in the new SST re-written eproms and voila!
The game booted up and works perfectly!!! Dancing Party
In the end, I can only assume that the Mains and Supplements were no good...
                                           or
The were incompatibility problems with the clear chips I have? Hmm...

Here's a short clip of the machine in Auto-Play!
If anybody's got a 3 line short glass Let me know?! Thanks!>>>
