Welcome to NLG, smokytrnam!

The quick and dirty way to get wins to go to the credit meter instead of the hopper is to press the "Cash - Credit" (or "Cash Out") button once before you start playing (the button should light up).  Once you've done that, wins will go to the credit meter until you press the Cash Out button.

You can change the default behavior for your machine, however, to make your machine default to having wins go to the meter rather than be paid immediately from the hopper.  To do so, we'll need to know what SP chip you have in your machine, and then we can give you some guidance from there.

To determine what SP chip is in your machine, please follow the directions here and reply back with what you've found out about your game.

Again, welcome to the site!

65  1 is an error code.  Here's a link to error codes and their solutions:

http://www.newlifegames.net/igterrors/

May I suggest that you also take a look at Rick's FAQ Files, available through this link or by clicking the blue button right under the sponsor ads at the top of the page?  It sounds like you're a newer slot owner, and there's a lot of great information in there to help you with your machine.

If you're still stuck on the 65  1 after you've followed the directions on the "Common IGT S+ errors" page, come back here and we'll help you get your machine back up and running.  What game theme is in there, out of curiousity?  Care to post a picture or two of your game?

Thanks Kevin,
The game is up and running, yes I am a new slot owner, dont know much about them, I dont know the actual theme of the game,
the glass says knockout boxing the reels say red white blue, I know it is not operating like it should, it gives me wins when the bars are not lined up, and no wins when the bars are lined up! Do you know where I can buy a game kit  for this?
Thanks Again,
Joe

Hi Joe-

Does the game say "Knock Down" on the glass by chance (instead of "Knock Out")?

It sounds like you have the wrong reel strips on there -- Knock Down doesn't use red white and blue 7s (only red ones).  All of the symbols on the reel strips should appear somewhere on the paytable on the glass (and there shouldn't be any extra symbols on the reel strips that don't appear on the glass).

Can you please follow these directions and let us know what SS chip is in your machine?  Then we'll be able to figure out what reel strips you need.

A photo of the machine and the reel strips would be very helpful to determine what you have installed on there.  Regardless, we'll help you get your machine up and running correctly!

As far as where to buy other kits, April at Leman's often has a lot of slant top kits at reasonable prices.  I'd also try Jim at Blueridge slots.  Both of them are on this site (ads above) and I've bought stuff from both of them with great results.  You can also post a "WTB" (Want To Buy) ad in the classifieds section of this board and one or more of the vendors will contact you.  Let them know you have an IGT S+ slant top machine.
