Hey guys,

Perhaps I'm just having a major brain fart here, but I need some help with configuring the "Credit Stye Setup" settings under Machine Options.  I'll have probably 1000 nickels to play with at any given time...most of which will be in the hopper and some in the tray for play.  When I win, it accumulates credits.  I want to ensure that when I hit a jackpot regardless of denomination, that the bells and whistles go off.  Is it possible to have the hopper empty out it's coins and then go into a "Call Attendent" mode for the remainder?

Anyway, I have 1000 nickels (50 bucks), denoms are set up as 5 cent, 25 cent, 1 dollar, 5 dollars, 20 dollars.  What should I define the following values as and what do they mean?

Hopper Limit:
Credit Limit:
Jackpot Limit:
Acceptor Credit Limit:

I apologize in advance if I sound totally ignorant.

Hopper Limit: Set this for an amount less than what you will have in the hopper and you will hear the clanging of the coins. Wins over this amount I think will pay from the hopper and the remainder will hand pay.
Credit Limit: I usually max this out, so I am not sure what is best for you to set it at so that you can have some coin action?
Jackpot Limit: I keep this set at $1200 so that it is just like Nevada for reality sake.
Acceptor Credit Limit: I keep this set at the max of $3000 so that I can max out on feeding in bills when I am playing at a higher denomination.

Most of the time I am playing the I-Game/Game King on paper money and not coins given the amount of coins that would have to feed in. I actually have the hopper disabled and do all in tickets and credits.

Not sure if it helped or not, but that is what I do, I am sure that others will chime in too!!!

Thanks!  Ok, the game is set up now as 1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 25 cent, and dollar denominations.  I have a nickel acceptor and a nickel hopper.  I plan to have 100 dollars worth of nickels in the hopper at all times.  I do not have a ticket printer and any setting related to a ticket printer is disabled.  I have all pays set to go to credit.  I have partial pay set under machine options.  If I hit a jackpot I would like the machine to empty the hopper and then pay the remainder via hand pay.  Could somebody with GK expertise confirm which settings I need to have activated to accomplish this?  I'm still not clear what to set my "Limit Options" to to accomplish my goal.  I'm probably confused.

Thanks!

Also, don't forget that you may be able to tokenize the coin in so that one nickle could be $25-500.00 each depending on the platform and theme in the machine. That really helps with multiple line/multiple coin slots. Also keep in mind that you cannot set a bet denom lower than your accounting value, so always set the accounting value at .01 to be able to get the one cent and two cent denom values.
