As opposed to a board side problem, because we tested all of the machines boards on our tester, when the customer got the boards back he had the exact same problem with his slot.

The machine plays fine but when a winner is hit the machine tilts (hopper tilt), the hopper doesn't even try to come on. But if he opens the door - presses the reset button - closes the door the machine clears it's tilt and pays the winning amount out of the hopper. It has to be a machine side wiring problem but I have never seen one like this. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

I thought it could be a hopper switch wired backwards so he sent his hopper and it worked fine also.
