I want to thank everyone that has help me with the Bally I have and will help with this next challenge a IGT Red White and Blue reel slot.

I go the IGT  slot off Craig's list the other day. After I got it home and tore in to it.
The battery was popped and there was a lot of acid damage. I found a used board on eBay and was
looking for "Ram clear and Set Chips" but which one do I need? The game chips are SP1271 and
SS3668.

What Set Chip do I need?

Is there any one with other game sets that they want to sell.
I was thinking of a game that has nudge.
It is a 9" flat top.

Basically, the different SET chips that Brianzz posted up are other possible chips your SP chip could use.
Few are specifically made for setting up stuff like SAS communication that may be needed for casino use.
These specific SET chips are not needed for a machine placed in the basement
or guest room of someone's home...lol
All you may need, are the ones that you mentioned for enabling your DBV and coin denomination.
There are publications/sheets that are called Program Summary Report (PSR's)
that are SP specific and contain information related to the SP chip that is installed in your S+.
These "reports" also tell you which specific SET chips are needed for certain set-up operations.
I hope this helps you with your question!  yes

Once again I thank everyone here that helps us newbies understand what goes into fixing and maintaining a slot machine.
From what I've read most of the persons that are giving out the advice are experienced techs and are teaching the rest of us
a lot of the stuff that they forgot years ago.

Hail Hail Hail Hail HailThank you o wise ones Hail Hail Hail Hail Hail

Thanks for the kinds words sir! applause
Hey! Let me add that I noticed that TOPHAT 79 ( One of our great S+ vendors)
has 11 sets of 9" 2 coin kits and 9 sets of 9" 3 coin kits listed.
You might like to get one of those!  yes

Also, on NLG, there's a "Classifieds" section where various vendors like to hang out at.
They might see your wants and give you some suggestions as to what they may have for sale!
