So I decided the other day to replace my dullard old incandescent button bulbs with LED's. So I whored around ebay for awhile and ran across these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300469900359

I thought 99 cent for 2 of them... the worst I'd be out is $7 + shipping (which I hesitantly bent over for, $7.93 for a first class padded envelope).. since of course I needed 14 of them.

Got them in the mail a day or two later and they were great, although I didn't realize what a MONUMENTAL PITA it would be to change them out... 4 busted scraped bleeding knuckles later it got done and am very pleased with the results. Before and after photos below.

The same seller has the tiny 74 bulbs in blue and amber also, if you really want to spice it up, I like to keep mine vanilla. There's probably some other bulbs of slot machine interest in there also, I really didn't look that deeply. Just for giggles I replaced the denom 73 light with one of the old button 74 lights and it lights it up much brighter, I stuck one of the LED's in first and it spit and sputtered and smoked and power cycled the machine so I thought that might not be a good idea.

I changed all my bulbs in my machine to the led 86's in under 3 minutes without a scratch to my hand. I removed the plastic button covers, then took a piece of vacuum hose and took each one out and then put the new ones in. Nice............
