I have a chip labeled as Spin Til You Win 3 coin SS4033. I did a search and did not see that number listed anywhere. Does anyone know if this is indeed a Spin Till You win reel chip, and if so, any other info on it? Otherwise can someone tell me what 3 coin Spin Till You Win reel chip numbers there are (and percentages if possible).

No, I thought a site search for that number would have looked there. But that did give me the correct reel numbers.

Aparently it's not a Spin till You Win, or it is mis-labled.

That is not the SS number of that chip, rather,  it's probably the model that chip was made for: >>>

4033: Reel, S-Slot, Intermediate 9" top box

SS4033 is a NJ Spin til you Win style chip 90%

Thanks. But what is the 'NJ' 'aspect? I assume it uses the same reel strips as any other Spin Till you Win, correct?

It appears to be identical to SS4453 according to the PAR sheets, but I don't have an SS4453 chip to compare it to.

The only difference seems to be in the PAR sheet calculations. The SS4453 lists the payback in the header without the respin contribution. The SS4033 includes the contribution. The two PAR sheets also have different volatility indexes.

The SS4453 lists a volatility index of 10.140 using IGT's non-standard "standard" 90% confidence value, while the SS4033 lists an index of 15.133 with a confidence value of 99%. However, both indexes are centered around the non-respin payback of 74.924%

The difference is likely due to the fact that the stated 99% confidence value is a rounded indication of a calculation to three standard deviations (perhaps NJ requires 3 SD data on their documents) -- or the 99% listing could be a typographical error; with IGT, who knows?  Duh! frying pan If it's a typo, then perhaps one index might have included the volatility of the respin while the other might have used the long-term average payback value of the respin -- or one of them might simply be in error. arrow

Interestingly, while the SS4033 includes the respin contribution in the header payback, the chip itself lists the payback as 74.92% internally. The SS44xx Spin chips I have list their total payback percentages including the respin -- which are the true paybacks of the chips, but list the lower payback in the PAR sheet headers.
Way to go IGT. loser

Thanks. That helps a lot. Although it does not look like it's the best % chip to have no matter how they have done the calculations.
