you have a WBA 11 transport, there's not software that will make it 4 way acceptance.  You NEED a WBA 13 transport.
If you want to upgrade your machine for 4 way acceptance and you have a WBA 11, you will nee to replace the harness on the back of the validator cage in order to do it.

The Heads on the WBA series are ALL THE SAME, there IS NO difference whatsoever between them, other than the sticker that is there, but as they say, a rose by any other name ...

So a checklist of what you need to do to upgrade your cabinet to 4 way.

1.  buy a WBA 12/13 transport. Again 12 is flashed so if you want to upgrade software, need to send it out.  13 is eprom based.
2.  You can use your old head if you want from the 10/11
3.  Get the new wba 12/13 harness that will replace the current harness which was there for the wba 10/11.

The WBA 13 doesn't just "slide" into the place of an 11.  There's a harness change that needs to take place on the back of the validator cage.  If your unit just slides in, then you did not get a WBA 13 transport.  Easiest way to tell is by looking at the connector on the back of the transport.  The two pictures below illustrate the difference.  The 1st one is a WBA 11 the 2nd one is a WBA 13.

WBA 10 - one way flash based
WBA 11 - one way eprom based
WBA 12 - 4 way flash based
WBA 13 - 4 way eprom base

For the record the harness that needs to be changed is the one attached to the connector shown on the back of the cage as pictured.  This is a WBA 12/13 harness.

Your transport has firmware for a s2000/I-game/Game King.  You need ID022/23 for a S+ machine.   But besides that WBA 12/13 software won't work in a WBA 10/11 transport!

He has a WBA 13 head, and has an WBA 11 transport (which are all the same within the WBA family).  He should be fine as long as he gets the right software.

Aren't the WBA heads all the same and the transports different??

Oops, sorry you are absolutely correct.  The transport holds the software on the WBA's  frying pan frying pan frying pan
