I turned on my 6000 the other day for a few hours of play.   The machine fired up and I played a few spins.   I came back a short
while later and the machine threw an 81 error   Scratch Head

I opened and closed the door and the error cleared.   

Thoughts?

Did you check the battery voltage?
was the button deck flashing ?
sounds like the battery is on the way out.

Yes it will still run but the button deck will flash
check the battery I bet it's low.
