Okay, well, here's the update.

Jim was spot-on with everything.  Hail Hail Hail applause applause applause

I plugged the dazzle reel harness into the plug indicated, and plugged whatever was previously in there into the other end of the dazzle harness, and the dazzle lights are now working!

Second, I swapped the MM Lite board from the Big Times Pay machine with the one from the working "White Stars" machine.  The Big Times Pay machine's sound problem was fixed (and the left speaker of the previously good machine had the same problem that the Big Times machine had), so that isolated the problem down to the MM Lite board.  (Oddly enough, about a year ago I bought one off of eBay thinking it would work for my Game King, but it was obviously not the right board, so I know I have a spare sitting in a box somewhere!)  I took the MM Lite board out of the third machine I bought which I hadn't yet fired up, and that board is good, so I now have two working games with good sound (minus one tray speaker that I need to get a new connector for).

So, a few steps forward tonight, which is great.  Big thanks (and K+ again if it'll let me) to Jim for his help and pictures -- I'll be in touch shortly about the 51 SIMM so I can get the correct Big Times Pay sounds, but it looks like I may need to buy some other parts -- I decided to try the third machine tonight.  Hoo-boy...   bawling  I'll start a new thread.

Check the MMLII board for a broken capacitor here:

C59 or C57 they are right near the edge of the board.

I have attached a PIC of an example that will mess up the sound on the machine!  Help

LOL, not laughing at you, I'm laughing at myself.

That wump wump wump sound you describe, I call a deh deh deh deh deh sound is an S2000 issue.
TRUST ME, I learned the hard way! The only way to get rid of the wump wump sound is with a sound card......... By the way,
since i am on the subject, does anyone know which simm card I need for an S2000 Double Red White  & Blue machine?
I have a multimedia lite card.

My list also shows the DBL RED,WHT&BLUE with a DSV00024, which in theory should sound the same as the DSV00042...at least from what I've seen and heard on YouTube vids.  I would imagine both would work.

Check your DIP switches with the CRC error, make sure they're all off.. if they're not you may have already fried that SIMM.. do you have a known good working one? What SG chips are you using with it?

I posted on the wrong place topic, my bad.
I do have the poblem below, but I think I confused others with my post. My Big Times Pay works fine.
My problem is with my Double Red White & Blue.

I bought a Multimedai II sound card from Ebay for my Double Red White & Blue and it had the DSV00042 simm in it......... Didnt work from the get go.
I have the DSV00042 but am getting this error
SOUND SIMM MEMORY CRC ERROR 0XF020

I put the simm from my Big Times Pay in the Double Red White & Blue and it works fine, NP.

Sorry for the confusion, I need a new simm for my Red White & Blue.

Any chance of getting a link to the youtube vieos you mentioned. I searched but had no luck.
