Can anybody help on how to put fans in the Williams 40X? Can fans be put in both the Dotmation Box and the lower cabinet? Is there a simple solution to this for someone with limited electrical abilities? Thanks.

Hey Dale-

Check out this post for some ideas.  I installed a couple of fans in my top box, including one right on the side of the Dotmation box to suck the hot air out of the box.  I've never installed a fan in the lower part of the cabinet.

This turned out to be a very easy and quick fix. Thanks to Kevin for letting me bounce things off him. A Three inch Muffin fan rated for 110AC and an old two prong outlet plug. The holes for the fan lined up perfectly and with a little filing the nuts were able to tighten up. I used spade connectors for the two wires from the fan to the two wires in the outlet plug. I plugged it into the outlets near the back of the machine so they will only come on when the machine is turned on. These Radio Shack fans are quiet and pumping the hot air out.

There is no hacking into existing wiring and can be made real sanitary looking.

I am putting two in line. One in the Dot Box and one behind the reels. Simple solution guys as I have very limited electrical ability. Thanks again Kevin for pointing me in the right direction.
