Hi,  I'm new to all this and just received my machine Super Times Pay "Double 3x 4x 5x".  It was supposed to have enhanced sound and I'm just not seeing or feeling it.  It has the multi lite card in it with the DSV00042 chip.  The only sound that appears enhanced is hitting the symbols of the jackpot.  Everything else is legacy seems like mono coming out of two speakers.  I went through all setup option to see if I can turn anything on but I'm not seeing the options that I would have expectd.  I'm hearing this might just be how this machine is.  Before knowing better - I flipped all the dip switches on on the simm and actually received a very cool rollup sound but lost the dong of the possible jackpot hit.  So my question is - is this what it is? is there a different simm I should be using?  Do I really need to leave the dip switches off?  I flipped the first one thinking they might all be different options and had a bad error that was corrected.  I can provide more data if I know wha tI should be providing.  I don't see my machine on the master list posted for simms and there was nothing fancy playing when I hit jockpot.  Bass has nothing cominig out of it.

I watched a youtube of the same chip different game and he seemed to have more options for adjusting sound.  Mine was called legacy on his setup but he had two others to choose from.

If you have the 3 reel version, 2 or 3 coin, you don't get any enhanced reel spin or roll-up sounds.

I have the 5 line version but I haven't installed it yet so I can't confirm if you get enhanced sound or not, but all the other versions of that game including the 9 line version don't either.

I guess my next question would be: what are my benefits of an "enhanced" sound card in it at all.  How can I tell the differences with and without it?  I paid extra for it and can possibly return it for credit.

Its produces stereo sound....and the dings.  Turn the machine off and pull the board.  The turn the machine back on and see the difference.

thanks for the help idesign.  I took the card out and heard a nice rollup when a winning combination was hit but lost the ding dang dong of the potential jackpot.  Reel sounds remained the same.  Guess it is what it is.  Thanks for the very quick support! -jim

You probably only heard the sounds from only one of the speakers too since stereo feeds sound to both speakers and the bass in the coin tray.

If you machine is a Multi-denomination  i believe you will loose the ding, dong, ???
Also check that your bottom speaker wires are connected. If one is loose or not connected it will sound bad.
Just a thought.
